It's already mid-March and the daylight and warm weather is a welcome change. The horses are are frisky and feeling good and by now you are seeing piles of fuzz littering the ground after a good grooming session.

It is that time, time to start looking forward to a new show season. Time to clean the tack, find the clippers, and enjoy the smell of sweaty horses.

This year the NMAWHC will be holding a "Perfect Pattern" Clinic to help get the season kicked off. The clininc is limited to 10 participants, and unlimited auditors. Come learn how to make those patterns crisp, smooth and polished. The clinic will be held April 24th at Windy Ridge in South Boardman. The application will be posted soon.

We follow that up with a Fuzzy Feedback show to be held May 29th at the Traverse City Fairgrounds. More information on that will be posted soon as well.

WE would like to thank everyone who came out for the 2010 Tack Sale. The event was a success with many quality vendors and great attendance. We are already planning the 2011 event - if you are interested in becoming a vendor, please let us know so we can reserve your space!

Finally, the Anna Bays Show Committee is hard at work designing a world class show series. There are a few changes this year. Each day will be single judged. The opening weekend will be in Cadillac, with the series wrapping up at FlintFields in Williamsburg. Stalls for the June show are filling fast. If you plan to attend please contact Jennifer ASAP.
