The 2009 Show season started with a bang this weekend. We went to the Blackstar Farms show Saturday and had a blast. Lots of riders, nicely run show. As always it would have been nice to see a few more riders, but overall a  nice way to get things started.
Sunday we made the trip to  Gaylord. Same story, nice show. Well run, a little chilly, but whatcha gonna do? Maybe next weekend will be a little warmer and get a few more riders out. Thanks to the Gaylord Club for hosting these early season shows.  The weather is always going to be a gamble, but its a great kick off show for the season.

Since the second Anna Bays Show falls on the Fourth of July weekend, we need to get an accurate head count ASAP for those who intend to camp with us that weekend. We are leaning toward using the Flowing Waters Campground in Williamsburg (just a mile from the showgrounds). They need to know how many will be camping there to reserve our spot. Please call Kris at 231-218-8239 or E-Mail at KVELECTRIC1@JUNO.COM and let me know your intentions. I'd rather have a couple too many, than not enough. I need to reserve by Weds. May 13th so please call soon,
Thanks,
Kris

The show season kicks off in full swing this weekend. Gaylord and Blackstar start us off, then a fun day at Windsonnett, followed by a local day at Horse Shows by the Bay, which takes us into the June 6th Jr Equitation meet at Kalkaska. From there its the start of our NMAWHC Season at the Fairgrounds. Keep watching the website, we have a couple areas posted and will try to keep it updated. You are always welcome to call Kris or Giny Deisler for details 231-941-7278.

I almost forgot  the reason for thisw post.

We have sponsorship opportunities available for our Anna Bays Show Series. This is a great advertising venue to promote your business to the greater Grand Traverse area horse community. Please call Kris Deisler for all the details. 231-941-7278, or 231-218-8239.
